Paris!  What a wonderful place to honeymoon!  Paris screams romance and love .  I have been to Paris numerous times and I could spend hours just wandering around looking at the architecture and the people!

For your honeymoon or a romantic week you cannot go wrong with Paris.   Going to the top of the Eiffel Tower or walking – at dusk- along the Seine.  Or drinking wine or a coffee in one of the many sidewalk cafes.  It has a feeling of make believe.  It is magical!!

Part of the joy and romance of Paris is walking!  Start from the Arc de Triomphe down the Champs-Elysees, through the Jardin des Tuileries to the Louvre; from Notre-Dame through the Latin Quarter to the Pantheon and through the Jardin du Luxembourg  (one of my favorite places to sit and take a break while eating a baguette with butter and cheese! ; along the Seine from Pont de l’Alma to Musee d’Orsay on the walkable river banks, crossing Ile de la Cite or Ile Saint-Louis; a midnight stroll along the romantic streets of Montmartre; along the Canal Saint-Martin at dusk, often referred to as one of Paris’ most romantic spots.

After all of that walking you may want to spend the next day on a food and wine tour of Paris. There are so many of them offered.  One of my favorites is in the St Germain district. Why?  Because this neighborhood has the highest concentration of pastry and chocolate shops in Paris (if not the world).  There is also cheese and breads.  Plus wine shops galore!  You cannot go wrong spending an afternoon learning and tasting what Paris food so incredible

Of course you want to visit the Musee du Lourve to see the impressionist painting and also the Musee Rodin for his sculptures  or the Musee d’Orsay but as always – Paris and the romance leads me back to food and wine.  There are so many wonderful neighborhood restaurants such as Au Passage.  Or go to a local shop – as I did often- buying food and wine then sitting on the banks of the Seine having a picnic!  You can do that in front of the Eiffel Tower too!  If you want a celebration dinner try the Restaurant Alain Ducasse at Plaza Athenee!  Wow.  Amazing!

I could go on and on.  But instead I will leave you with this.  Paris IS for LOVERS  and Honeymooners or a romantic holiday or simply if you want to spend time learning to love yourself.  Paris is Paris.  The name says it all!
